Some Reworks Required...
Eremidia: Archivist's Curse » Devlog
So, based on feedback and suggestions from players, there are some stuffs noted for Chessmaster's Challenge.
Summary:
- The battle tends to take way too long time to finish
- Enemies tend to "kite" party without doing jack at all OR being away from each other, dragging the battle into the game of waiting and hindering player to clear the battle with quick assaults
- The movements and enemies placements are being controlled by RNGesus too much
Conclusion:
- The decision has been made regarding the battle field; the fourth row on the battle field, leaving it to be 8x3
- Restricting the movements of all battlers; the move rate for all battlers to 1
- In compensation of much more limited move rate, the attack range for all battlers has been increased; meaning everyone can do something without wasting time moving around like a bloody airhead
- While at the moment the enemies is still moving around in RNGesus' accord, the reduction of battle field size will also enforce them to gather round, making it easy for player to demolish them in swift strike (and vice versa; enemy troops may have the same trait to party as well)
Recap:
The update containing the implemented stuffs shown in recap video will come soon. For now, the RC3 is deemed as the stable version of the current version (v1.5 build 300419)
Maybe that's all for now. Cheers~
